A True Devotion to Healing

Since 1851, the Sisters of Charity of St. Augustine (CSA) have shown their devotion to healing by serving the unmet needs of children, adults and families in Ohio and South Carolina. They established the Sisters of Charity Health System in 1982 to support the Congregation in carrying out its mission in health care, education and social service.

Today, that mission lives on in the Health System through a range of health and human services outreach ministries, grantmaking foundations and elder care facilities in Cleveland, Canton and South Carolina. These diverse ministries live out the healing mission of Jesus by providing life-transforming services every day, touching the lives of hundreds of thousands people each year. At all levels, the Sisters of Charity Health System is a trusted resource for those in need of physical, psychological or spiritual wholeness.

Charitable Giving Meets Many Needs

Charitable giving is essential to our mission. Your support will help heal individuals, families and communities by providing food, education, health care, early childhood development, medical respite, elder care services and more. To learn how, read more about our sponsored ministries. Or, read the impact stories below for real-life examples of how your help can make a difference in someone’s life.

Your Donation Goes Further

We are a family of ministries connected by a health system. Our relationship enables us to freely share best practices and resources. This significantly reduces overhead costs and helps us constantly improve. The bottom line: more of every dollar given actually helps people in need.

Your gift of any type or amount will sustain the CSA faith-based legacy of high quality, compassionate care for all of God’s people. Thank you!

Your Support Means the World to Us

Our leadership and staff, the CSAs, and the people our ministries serve are deeply grateful for every gift. CSA Sisters pray daily for our generous supporters. Click here to see our Donor Wall of Honor.

Ways to Give

Certain types of gifts can qualify as a tax deduction while others can reduce taxable income, offering a strategic way to give while managing tax liability.

Make a gift that delivers help and hope where it’s needed most with a one-time or recurring gift.
