Responding to Emerging Community Needs
Since the founding congregation of the Sisters of Charity Health System arrived in Cleveland in 1851 from France to serve as the Cleveland’s first public health nurses, the Sisters of Charity of St. Augustine (CSA) have been responding to emerging community needs ever since.
The Sisters of Charity Health System continues the guiding example set by the Sisters with numerous faith-based health and human services and education-related ministries, foundations, residential eldercare services, addiction treatment, and more.
