When Bradley Belden looks back on his support of the Early Childhood Resource Center (ECRC), what inspires his continued engagement with the organization is the simple but powerful belief that investing in young children is one of the most impactful ways to strengthen a community.
Serving on the ECRC Board of Directors has given him the opportunity to see firsthand how its programs equip families, empower educators and provide children with the tools they need for a strong start in life.
“Throughout my 14 years on the board, I’ve had the privilege of contributing to ECRC’s strategic direction while also growing as a leader myself,” said Bradley. “I’ve seen what’s possible when the right people come together with a shared vision. Time and again, I’ve been inspired by the dedication of ECRC’s staff and the meaningful impact of their work on the children and families they serve. Their stories have reinforced for me that leadership isn’t just about governance; it’s also about listening, supporting and championing those on the front lines of making change.”
Bradley’s involvement with ECRC has deepened his appreciation for the long-term vision required to nurture both children and organizations. It has also reinforced the value of service as a guiding principle in his life. The mission, the people and the impact of ECRC over the past 25 years are the reasons Bradley remains committed to supporting the organization and serving on the ECRC board today.
